01Smart thermostat installation
Right device.
Wired properly.
Most smart thermostats need a common wire (C-wire), and most older Sacramento homes don’t have one. We run the wire or add an adapter, mount the unit, configure your equipment type, and walk you through the app before we leave. If a thermostat screen goes blank, our blank thermostat troubleshooting guide shows how to find the lost power before you call.
We also fix existing smart thermostats that short-cycle the furnace, won’t talk to Wi-Fi, or trigger random ‘heat call’ errors, we’re Nest Pro certified for warranty service. Pairs naturally with zoning controls and indoor air quality upgrades for whole-home comfort.
02Why upgrade
What a smart thermostat actually does.
Beyond the touchscreen. The features that actually move your monthly bill and measurably increase comfort.
Lower energy bills
Stop conditioning the house when no one is home. Built-in occupancy sensing and geofencing handle it for you.
Real scheduling
Time-of-day programming that matches how you actually live. Weekday vs. weekend, away vs. home.
Phone control
Adjust the temp from anywhere. Coming home early? Bump it from the car.
Energy tracking
See where your kWh are going across seasons. Useful when you’re deciding what to upgrade next.
Self-learning
Modern smart thermostats build a schedule by watching your behavior, no manual programming required.
Zone-aware
Pair with zoning dampers so each zone gets its own setpoint and schedule. Comfort where you actually are.
